SRC Logistics to Open New Facility, Create Jobs in Joliet, Illinois

Springfield, MOSRC Logistics, Inc. (SRCL) is pleased to announce the opening of a new facility in Joliet, Illinois, to manage the reverse logistics of cores (used for remanufacturing) on behalf of an international automobile brand.

Headquartered in Springfield, Missouri, SRCL is the leading provider of full-range core services with specialties in core management and reverse logistics for the remanufacturing industry. Built on over 25 years of experience, SRCL offers solutions to Original Equipment Manufacturers for core management challenges, including increasing core returns, improving forecast accuracy, and more.

The new facility, located at 1023 E. Laraway Road, has over one million square feet of space and will process 1.8 million pieces of core annually. More than 100 jobs are expected to be created in the Joliet area in the next year with hiring beginning in November 2020.

As a subsidiary of SRC Holdings Corporation (SRC), associates at this facility will have the opportunity to participate in SRC’s Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), in conjunction with their business management system, The Great Game of Business®.
