SRC Opens Latest Springfield Venture, Enterprise Self Storage

Springfield, MO – This week, SRC Holdings opened its latest business venture, Enterprise Self Storage, serving Springfield’s eastern communities.

The storage facility offers 300 units ranging in size from 10x5’ up to 12x40’ for indoor boat and vehicle storage and feature 24/7 video surveillance. Enterprise Self Storage is located at 1610 S. Enterprise Avenue, directly behind SRC’s existing manufacturing facility on the corner of Sunshine Street and Enterprise Avenue.

Kim Bell, Property Manager at SRC, who manages the new venture, said, “This has been a fun project to work on, and we’re excited to be opening our doors. We’ve already had a lot of reservations from members of the community, and we’re excited to see the growth this brings for our employee-owners.”

The new business is the latest phase in SRC’s decade-long, $100 million plan for real estate development and diversification led by SRC Development Group.

“Opening the storage facility helps us to more efficiently utilize our land and diversify our income while meeting the high demand for storage in the Springfield community,” said Dennis Sheppard, General Counsel at SRC Holdings who has spearheaded SRC Development Group since SRC announced the plan in 2021. “It’s hard to find storage space, especially in town. We’re trying to fix that.”

Tenants can begin moving items into their storage units, and reservations may be made online at EnterpriseSelf-Storage.com.
