Laura Ruzicka

EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT OF ACCOUNTING AND FINANCE
SRC Holdings Corp.

Laura has played a key role in the growth of SRC over her 35 years from a single factory into a thriving family of businesses that now employs more than 2,000 employee-owners. Laura had studied employee stock ownership plans, or ESOPs, while pursuing her MBA degree, but there weren’t many companies at that time embracing the practice of employee ownership. SRC was an exception. When she joined SRC in a sales role, Laura was intrigued by the long-term potential of the ESOP to create wealth for the employee-owners of the business.

Today, in her role as Executive Vice President, Laura sees one of her primary roles as continuing to educate the people who work at SRC about how their ESOP works—and how they can all work together to keep it growing into the future. Laura, who is also a Certified Internal Great Game of Business Coach, also credits the principles of the Game for creating the kind of culture in SRC that will continue to drive the long-term success of its ESOP.

Laura was named an alternate member of the SRC Board of Directors in 2024 in recognition of the vast knowledge of the business she learned serving in sales, supply chain, HR, and accounting roles over her time with the business. She also serves as a member of the ESOP Association Public Policy Committee, Immaculate Conception Church Finance Committee, Missouri State University MBA Advisory Board, and Catholic Campus Ministries Advisory Board.

Outside the office, thanks to the skills she learned coaching her son’s baseball team, Laura can step in to pinch hit in helping line a baseball field.
